Moon Star is a trade mark of Nisshin Steel . These images are from medium and large format slides (Velvia / Fuji Crystal) of rusting and deteriorating steel panels - the objects themselves are "modern art painted by nature". Not only are these objects beautiful but the subject matter raises the question "if art is made by random actions, is it art?". Turning the situation round, "if I can infinitely reproduce the same print by the press of a button, are those prints art?".

Some of these images were on display at our 2008 exhibition in Ginza, Tokyo and a few have also been featured in the Jan 2008 edition of Nisshin Steel's company magazine, and in "Metals and technology" newspaper.
